I hope this finds you anticipating the weekend. It has been a busy week here as we have all four been dealing with colds, coughs and various and sundry creeping bugs that suck the energy out of you.
We have had a very cold week but are looking to warm up to the 20s for the weekend and that will be nice. Maybe we'll even have the energy to go out and ski. I would love to get outside and move, but have had so little energy to do more than the bare essentials.
Enjoy wherever you are and know that we are thinking about you and you are in our prayers.

Here on the Olympic Pennisula it's been in the 20's and we feel that's cold! It's been bright and sunny and beautiful but we've commented several times as we looked at your temperatures that we really can't even imagine -20! And I know it was colder than that! So enjoy the warmer temperatures and I too hope that you all feel up to getting out and getting some skiing in this weekend. We hope you are all getting better from your various ailments and bugs.

Wake Forest University was very nearly shut down for a few days due to the pervasiveness of a particularly vile flu strain, but the excitement appears to have subsided, leaving me with nothing to do but twiddle and sweat over my MA thesis. Familiar with C.S. Lewis's chum Charles Williams? I'm writing on his Arthurian poetry. It's loads of sport. But we can still accommodate house guests, should any of you decide to defect to warmer climes for the space of a visit.
